Recipe to Make THE PERFECT SHOES!



Nike recently launched the shoes that laces themselves. This is the video explaining the futuristic shoes:




Now, I am going to suggest them to make THE PERFECT SHOES ever!

My Perfect Shoes wish-list include:

  1. Self-lacing ability
  2. Never Required to Charge
  3. Never Required to Cleanup
  4. Automatic wearing-off abilities

Some of them looks impossible.

What if I say that all four of them are already possible? Only assembling those features into a nice shoe is left to do!

Let's see all the requirements one by one and how they are possible with our existing technology.

1. Self-lacing Ability

That has been achieved. Though, it can be improved.

2. Never Required to Charge

The current Nike Mags have batteries in them that are required to charge, just like your smartphone. Yes, from now on, you will charge your shoes, too. Maybe in future, you will even charge your underwear.

But, how is it possible?

You might have heard of watches that self-charge via Kinetic energy?

You get the idea.

If they can fit that technology in a small watch, then it is totally possible in shoes that offers so much space.

Walking will charge the batteries automatically.

Against this, mobile phones don't come with these feature, because they have far higher battery consumption than a watch or a smart shoe. Also, them becoming thinner and thinner leaves very little room. Third, even though we use smartphone a lot, it wouldn't receive as much movements as our watches or shoes for enough kinetic energy to recharge the huge batteries. Although, they are on to making batteries that work for up to 400 years!

3. Never Required to Cleanup

If you have ever walked into a water or mud with your shoes on, then you know they are technically destroyed and can never get back to the original beauty they were made of.

Nano Coating is the solution.

Nano Coating can make "anything" liquid-proof. Here is the video demonstrating the same. It also includes Nano-coated Shoes:


So, that is also possible.

4. Automatic Wearing Off Ability

What if you don't need to bend down to untie the shoe and get them off. Can we have some pressure-sensitive area inside, outside or at the base of the shoe, that when pressurized in only a certain manner, would untie the shoe automatically. The self-lacing technology in reverse.

That sounds possible. Just figure out a way that a person won't do while using the shoes and could be performed while standing up, when the person wants to remove the shoes and you can get off your shoes without bending down.

If such shoe becomes a reality, 1. you are just putting your feet inside the shoes and they automatically lace-up 2. You go outside and play in the mud or water as much as you want without worrying of the beauty or cleanliness of your shoes 3. and come back to your house and get your feet outside the shoes once they untie the laces automatically.

Who wouldn't buy such thing?

And what's is stopping Nike from make such shoes?
